I was born in Switzerland, on February 10, 1982. Already at an early age animals and nature fascinated
me more than any toy could have.
But most of all I loved the fantastic, the mythological- fantasy. I started
painting as soon as I could hold a pen, and when I painted a horse at the
age of five no one could stop me from adding wings on its back.
Painting very soon became my addiction. I would paint anywhere, on my
notebooks
and even on my desk. I would paint everything that sprung into my mind,
often without any reference. The sentence “She paints to
much” was a common feedback
from the teachers side.
The first sculpture I did at the age of 8, using simple clay from the
fields.
At the age of 11 my fascination for catpeople began, inspired by a book
I
started writing. The fascination for catpeople, so called cathumans has
stayed
until today, just as the addiction to create other worlds and
stories.
Whenever I could I fought for my fascination, even if my teachers did
not
quite like and understand the art of fantasy. They do so until today,
eventually as much that I started to keep it as my hobby secret. I am
however active as an artist in furry Conventions or sell and exhibit my
works online or at a oversea and European artshows.
I left school after having passed the General Certificate of Education with
the main subjects in psychologie and art. I decided to take a one year break
and aim for freelance art.
February 2005 I applied for art school
in Basel. Since March 2006 I going to HGKZ Zurich, I hope to graduate in 2009 as an art instructor or art teacher. |
